I am Maà (Mariana Sobol),

a voice and movement artist in an intuitive, flowing state of expression.

I have been a singer for as long as I can remember.

I was born into a musical family in Ukraine, raised loving jazz, and later pursued a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance.

I traveled the world, singing in many parts of this beautiful planet.

For almost 15 years, I was a lead singer with Cirque du Soleil in two iconic shows: Alegría (world tour) and O at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

About four years ago, with the war in Ukraine and the loss of my father — a multi-instrumentalist and music educator who always spoke about divine frequencies and what we transmit — I began searching for relief from my grief and rage.

I turned to something I had always known: singing.

But with a small, yet profound shift.

When answers and relief didn’t come from the outside world,

I began to look within… and listen within.

Through sound meditations, shamanic journeys with my voice and the drum, flow sounding, mantras, native melodies, and plant medicine,

I discovered a deeply meaningful, beloved healing voice within me — one that had nothing to do with my skills as a singer.

Songs began pouring out…

about my grief, about being a HUMan Being,

about stillness and deep listening — to myself and to the world — while moving through everything we, as humans, experience.

I am a mother of two, a wife, a friend, a daughter… and an artist.

Throughout my entire career, I have been an extensive performer.

And the songs I tried to record never made it into the world.

Once they were processed and layered digitally, I lost connection to them.

I felt shame… and I abandoned them, like unwanted final creations.

Now, I have discovered my holistic voice.

And all I aim to do is two things:

To express my prayer —

to release the emotions, struggles, and wonders I experience…

And to inspire you —

to listen deeper to yourself,

to nature,

to the world and the planet we live in,

and to sound itself.

I want to inspire you to find your own holistic voice within.

My lyrics are just that —

a humble prayer for my path,

and for the paths of those who have inspired me with their stories, their limitations, their pain and laughter, their love and friendships.

My music is inspired by healing and ceremonial spaces,

by incredible musicians around the world,

by nature and this beautiful planet,

by the elements that constantly support us and make life possible.

By my ancestors.

By my Ukrainian land.

By ancient Slavic traditions.

By native cultures around the world and their beautiful wisdom.

It is also inspired by the desert of Las Vegas —

a place I have learned to love and call home.

A place that has taught me that every land, every part of the Earth carries its own wisdom.

The desert teaches endurance.

Strength.

And the knowing that even in the hardest conditions…

water still exists, hidden within.

This time, I am ready to release.

To let go.

To allow these frequency imprints — my songs — to enter the world

without trying to control the outcome,

without abandoning them as imperfect or unwanted creations.

This is an audio imprint of my truth in one moment of my life.

And maybe… it is also a mirror of a moment in yours.

I am not here to impress you.

I am here to express.

I am not here to perform for you.

I am here to pray with you.

I am not here to control.

I am here to inspire

and to reflect the beauty of this project we are all living:
